Mauna Kea - 12/24/2008

Just wanted to let you know we couldn't have had a better experience on our summit trip with Greg as our guide on Christmas Eve. He made the trip with his wit and knowledge. We both came away more informed about the night sky and definitely were entertained with Greg's stories about the Big Island's history and geology. Kudos for making the trip easily doable for my wife, Alice, who was on crutches. Easily one of the coolest things we have ever experienced. ...

Mauna Kea - 12/4/08

Hello Hawaii Forest and Trail I just wanted to write a quick email to thank you for the most exciting and eye opening tour that I have ever been on. The Mauna Kea summit tour led by Merritt, on Dec 4th was amazing to say the least. Merritt the guide was knowledgable, and made the tour even more enjoyable. I just wanted to let you guys know that you are all doing a great job, and it makes me very jealous of our jobs.

Kohala Waterfalls - 11/29/08

We took the Kohala Waterfall Adventure today and had a great time, and much of the credit goes to our guide Nate. He encouraged us to form friendships among each other while proving to be a wealth of knowledge about Hawaiian history, folk lore, customs and everything else related to the Island. We will definitely sign up for another adventure during our next visit to Kona and hope that Nate will be our guide. Maholo.
