Adventure: Mauna Kea Summit & Stars

My husband and I did the Mauna Kea sunset and stargazing tour with Greg on Jan. 24th, and I wanted to let you know that it was one of the very best parts of an amazing vacation on the Big Island. We were coming from Volcano and meeting the group on Saddle Road worked out perfectly - the whole tour was fantastic. The stew was great and the pace of the tour was very comfortable. Greg provided really interesting commentary on the way to the summit. Seeing the telescopes open and watching the sunset was really memorable. At one point, my husband said that he had seen pictures of the telescopes and the summit, but never expected that he would be standing there. How awesome is that? And you guys made it possible. I am so grateful! The star gazing portion of the evening was spectacular, and the cookies and hot chocolate were delicious! Would you please let Greg know that I said thank you, and tell him that I love the 2 pictures that he took of us..we get LOTS of compliments!
