Mike Pickard

Interpretive Guide

Mike is from San Diego, California but has spent time in Colorado, Alaska, and Washington State.  He has recently moved back to his wife’s hometown of Waimea to live a simpler, more enriched, quality of life.  Mike is fascinated with the history and biodiversity of Hawaii and relishes the opportunity to share Hawaii’s wonder with his guests. 

Mike has spent time fly fishing in Alaska, and also has traveled extensively through the Philippines and Southeast Asia.  His hobbies including photography, hiking, mountain biking and diving.
