Born and raised in southern California, Stephanie is no stranger to warm weather. So after 13 years of living in the Pacific Northwest, she decided that it was time for a move to warmer climes. She has called the Big Island “home” since 2008.

Stephanie has made a career out of doing what she loves. Prior to coming to Hawaii Forest and Trail, she pursued her life-long passion of being a pilot. Among her flying adventures, she worked as a flight instructor, a cargo pilot, and an air ambulance pilot. She even flew sight-seeing tours here on the Big Island. But after 15 years in the industry, she was ready for a new adventure. Her passion for all things Hawaii, combined with a love of the outdoors lead her directly to Hawaii Forest & Trail. “I love this beautiful place that I’m so blessed to call home. I love learning about and sharing the culture, the history, and the biota of Hawaii Nei. So, Hawaii Forest & Trail was a perfect match for me,” she says.
