Throughout the year multiple star clusters are visible under the skies above Mauna Kea. These beautiful celestial bodies composed of anywhere from one hundred to over one million stars! Found throughout the Milky Way and other galaxies, star clusters form in a number of ways, depending on gravity, location and composition just to name a few, and can be globular, open, or even come in binary or multiple sets!
